Okay, let’s talk about dim sum. I’m a big foodie, and dim sum is one of my all-time favorites. So, a few weeks ago, I decided to find the best dim sum in my area, which happens to be Phoenix, Arizona.

First, I did some research online. I looked up “best dim sum in Phoenix” and read a bunch of articles and reviews. I also checked out some local food blogs and forums. The city’s Chinatown seemed to be the most talked-about area, but there were a few other spots scattered around.
Then, I made a list of the places that sounded the most promising. I considered things like the variety of dishes offered, the freshness of the ingredients, and of course, the overall taste. I also paid attention to what people were saying about the service and the atmosphere.
Once I had my list, I started visiting the restaurants one by one. I usually went with a few friends so we could order a bunch of different dishes and share them. We tried everything from the classics like siu mai and har gow to some more unique dishes that we had never had before.
- We ordered a bunch of siu mai, which is like these little pork and shrimp dumplings. They are super famous, and I can see why.
- Har gow, which are shrimp dumplings. So good!
- And a lot of other stuff I can’t even remember the names of.
We took notes on each dish, rating them on things like flavor, texture, and presentation. We also talked about the overall dining experience. We took our time with each dish, savoring the flavors and enjoying the experience.
After visiting a few places, we started to notice some patterns. Some places were really good at certain dishes, while others were more consistent across the board. We also found that the best dim sum places tended to be the ones that were the most crowded and had the longest wait times. I even tried to ask people around me what they liked best.

In the end, we found a few places that we really loved. They all had amazing food, great service, and a lively atmosphere. And we are so glad that we took the time to do this little dim sum adventure. It was a lot of fun, and we discovered some new favorite spots.
So, if you’re ever in Phoenix and you’re looking for some good dim sum, feel free to message me, and I can share our findings. Trust me, you won’t be disappointed. And if you are somewhere else, I hope that my experience helps you in any way to find your best dim sum.
