There’s no such thing as a free lunch, really. Anything promising massive payouts for zero effort is almost certainly pulling your leg. “Quick” often means quick to get started, but the money might trickle in. “Easy” might mean not physically demanding, but mentally draining, like those surveys.
Selling your unused possessions? Definitely a good first stop. It’s your stuff, might as well get some value back. But be prepared for the selling process itself to take some time and patience.
As for those online survey things, maybe some people make decent side cash, but I wasn’t one of them. For me, the time it took just wasn’t worth the tiny payout. But the small, local, task-based gigs? That was a winner for actual quick cash. You put in a few hours of honest work, you get paid right away. It’s not passive, it’s active, but it’s reliable if you can find the gigs.

And for that, a combination of selling what I didn’t need and doing a few odd jobs here and there actually did the trick.
