Okay, here’s my experience at Atlantic Seafood & Dim Sum Restaurant, told in a casual, blog-style format:

Seafood & Dim Sum Lovers: Atlantic is Your Spot!

So, the other day, my buddy and I were craving some serious dim sum. We’d heard whispers about this place, Atlantic Seafood & Dim Sum Restaurant, and decided to give it a shot. We jumped in the car and headed over, stomachs rumbling.

The Arrival

First impressions? This place is HUGE. It’s like a banquet hall, with tons of round tables and those lazy Susans in the middle. It was pretty busy, mostly families and big groups, which is always a good sign, I think. We got seated pretty quickly, though, and a server immediately came over with a pot of hot tea.

The Dim Sum Ordering

Now, the ordering process is a classic dim sum experience. They roll these carts around, stacked high with steaming bamboo baskets. You just flag down a cart and point at what looks good. It’s a little chaotic, but that’s part of the fun!

The Food!

We went a little crazy, to be honest. We grabbed:

  • Shrimp dumplings (har gow): These were plump and juicy, the wrappers were perfectly thin.
  • Pork siu mai: Classic, savory, and always a winner.
  • BBQ pork buns (char siu bao): Fluffy, sweet, and filled with delicious, sticky pork.
  • Chicken feet: Okay, I’m not a huge fan, but my buddy loves them. He said they were well-braised and flavorful.
  • Sticky rice in lotus leaf: This is always a must-have for me. Fragrant rice, with bits of chicken and Chinese sausage.
  • Egg tarts: Warm, flaky crust, and a creamy, sweet custard filling.

We devoured everything. Seriously, we were * servers kept the tea flowing, and we just kept grabbing more dishes as the carts rolled by.

The Verdict

Overall, I’d definitely recommend Atlantic Seafood & Dim Sum. It’s a classic dim sum experience, with a huge variety of dishes, and the food is pretty darn good. It’s not fancy, but it’s authentic, and the prices are reasonable. Just be prepared for a bit of a wait if you go during peak hours, and be ready to jump on those carts when they come around! It fulls my stomach, I should say.
