Today, I wanna talk about them yellow foods for party, yeah, them yellow ones. Makes things look all sunny and happy, you know? Good for any kinda party, like when them little ones come outta their mamas or when someone’s gettin’ another year older. Yellow food just makes everyone smile, I reckon.

First off, you got them bananas. Everyone loves bananas. Long yellow fellas. Good for you, too. My old man used to eat one every mornin’, said it kept him goin’. You can just put ’em out, let folks grab ’em. Or you can cut ’em up, put ’em on a plate with other yellow stuff. Makes a pretty picture, that does.
Then there’s that yellow corn. Oh boy, corn on the cob. Boil it up, slather it with butter. Everyone gets their hands dirty, but it’s worth it. Sweet and juicy. And if you don’t wanna deal with the whole cob, you can get them little kernels. Make a corn salad, maybe. With some yellow peppers. Chop ’em up small. Adds some crunch, you see?
- Bananas, of course, gotta have bananas.
- Corn, on the cob or off, don’t matter.
- Pineapple! Forgot about that one. Sweet and tangy.
- Them yellow bell peppers, for salads and such.
- Cheese! Yellow cheese, lots of it.
And what about them pineapples? Big spiky things, but sweet as can be inside. Cut ’em up into chunks. Or you can get them little rings. Folks can just pick ’em up with their fingers. Makes things easy, you know. Less mess to clean up later. My old bones ain’t what they used to be, so easy is good.
Don’t forget about them drinks, neither. Lemonade, that’s a good one. Yellow and refreshing. Especially when it’s hot out. You can make it from scratch, squeeze them lemons yourself. Or just buy the powder, mix it with water. Either way, it’s yellow and it’s good.
Cheese, gotta have cheese. That cheddar stuff, it’s yellow. Cut it up into cubes, put some toothpicks in ’em. Or get them slices, roll ’em up. Cheese goes with everything. Crackers, fruit, you name it. Keeps folks happy while they’re waitin’ for the main food.

And for somethin’ sweet, you got them lemon bars. All crumbly and lemony. Or them little cupcakes with yellow frosting. Kids love them cupcakes. And some grown-ups, too, if they’re honest. Just a little somethin’ to satisfy that sweet tooth.
You can get them deviled eggs too, my ma used to make them all the time. Boil the eggs, scoop out the yolks, mix ’em with some mayonnaise, make it all creamy and yellow, then stuff it back in the white part. Easy peasy. Some folks like a little spice in there, not me though, I like things plain and simple.
And what about them little yellow tomatoes? I saw ’em at the store the other day. They look just like the red ones, but yellow. They say it’s all the same, just a different color. You can put them in a salad, or just eat ’em whole. They’re sweet, I heard.
Oh, and them mangoes! They’re yellow too, when they’re ripe. They get all soft and juicy, and they taste like sunshine. You gotta peel ’em first, and there’s a big old pit in the middle, but it’s worth the trouble. I had one once, a long time ago. It was a real treat.
Yellow foods for party, they just make everything better. Like a little bit of sunshine on your plate. Makes you feel good inside. So next time you’re havin’ a get-together, remember them yellow foods. They’ll make your party a real hootenanny!

- Lemonade, gotta quench that thirst.
- Lemon bars or cupcakes, for a sweet treat.
- Deviled eggs, an oldie but goodie.
- Yellow tomatoes, somethin’ different.
- Mangoes, juicy and sweet.
So you see, there is a lot of yellow foods for party. Just use your noggin, you will find more. I am just an old lady, I can only remember so much. But these are definitely the good stuff, people love them. Trust me, I know. And they are all yellow!
